Here at Team UnLimbited we are on a mission. Our mission is to design, develop, build and distribute open source 3D printed assistive devices for people affected with an upper limb difference.

It’s a big mission, but we’ve already made an impact on so many lives since we officially became a charity in 2018.

Our arms give courage and confidence to those who receive them. We can also design them in a way to match their personality, like Alisha’s bright always believe arm, or their interests like Ethan’s Iron Man Arm. You can see the arms we’ve made on our YouTube channel.

As we said, it’s a big mission but we are determined to achieve it! We know we can do it, but we will need your help. Here are 5 ways you can give Team UnLimbited a helping hand.

Do a challenge to fundraise money

We absolutely love it when someone does a challenge to raise money for us. It is brilliant to see the creative ideas that people come up with.

This year Shana Froggatt raised £270 for us by abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. Isn’t that phenomenal!

Abseiling from great heights isn’t the only way to raise money for Team UnLimbited. Here are some ideas of other things you can do:

Run a 5K or a 10K if you want to push yourself even further.
Have a cake sale. We love cake here at Team UnLimbited! We’ve even had Great British Bake Off semi-finalist, Briony May, bake a cake as part of our cake design competition. Check it out here.
Have a garage sale to raise some money. You can give items a second life and give us a helping hand.
Go on a Santa walk. With Christmas approaching, there is no better time to dress up in red with some friends and go on a Santa walk.
